The event is free to attend, but donations are welcome to support future events & the preservation of Cedarmere, the historic home of William Cullen Bryant.
Willa Carroll will read from Nerve Chorus, her acclaimed first book, and her second, the 2023 Demolition Suite, ” a lyrical sound collage.” Tracy K. Smith, the twenty-second US Poet Laurate, describes Carroll’s poems as “nimble,” grappling “with what it means to belong to a body, family, a country...”
She has a BA and MFA from Bennington College and has taught at universities, writing centers, and public schools.
